Why am I a sports therapist, not a physio?

Physiotherapy attempts to rehabilitate patients to a level they feel comfortable and get on with day to day life, whereas Sports Therapy dials down and focuses more on whether the patient has returned to or can maintain the required physical level for their personal sporting activity.

That’s why I chose to go down the sports therapy route. I enjoy working with clients in different sports as their needs differ from client to client. When I have a patient come in with a niggle/ injury and over time, seeing and hearing how well they have improved and are back doing what they enjoy is what makes it.

    What a relief!!
After being up all night with knee pain, At 5-30am I went on line and booked an appointment with Josh for, 11-20am Same day. I live 98 miles away, so 196 mile round trip.
Duly arrived after the 2 hour trip, and 1 hour 10 minutes later!! I walked out the clinic free of pain!!
All down to Josh who I now call the “Messiah”.
Thanks Josh and keep up the good work.
As an 81 year old, I am over the moon.
